The story
Sub-two-second loads.
Challenge
- Pages crawled past four seconds, so visitors left before the catalogue loaded.
- Catalogue and checkout ran on separate systems, so prices and stock drifted apart every day.
- Every content change needed a developer.
What we did
- Rebuilt the storefront on Next.js with server-rendered product and category pages.
- Moved catalogue and checkout onto one stack with a single source of truth for price and stock.
- Set up a headless CMS so the team edits products and content without us.
- Agreed a page-speed budget and checked it on every release.
Result
- Sub-two-second loads, one stack for catalogue and checkout, and a CMS the team runs without us.
